1 young woman killed in crash near Lone Jack, Missouri when her car hit the trailer of a semi truck.

A 25-year-old Lee's Summit woman was killed in a crash near Lone Jack.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said Victoria R. Moore's car hit the trailer of a semi truck as it was crossing U.S. Highway 50 highway near Sam Moore Road in Johnson County, MO.

The wreck happened about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

The truck driver, a 40-year-old Texas man, was not injured.
