As we always say: it is better to arrive late at your current
destination, than to arrive early at your final destination. Slow down at intersections, let the aggressive
drivers go first, let the train go first, it does not worth it getting you or
your family injured or dying.

BESSEMER, ALABAMA (AP)
Bessemer police have identified a woman who they say died
when she tried to outrun a train in Alabama.
Local media reports 20-year-old Rickkiria Byron was hit by
an Amtrak
passenger train hit after she drove around the railroad crossing gate.
Deputy Police Chief Mike
Roper says the woman drove around four cars that were stopped at the
crossing and drove onto the tracks. The train hit her car and dragged it four
blocks before coming to a stop.
Byron was pronounced dead at the scene.
An Amtrak spokeswoman says the train was the Crescent, which
travels daily between New Orleans and New York City. Once the car was removed,
the train continued on to New York. No injuries were reported by the crew or
the 67 passengers on board.
As we always say: it is better to arrive late at your
current destination, than to arrive early at your final destination. Slow
down at intersections, let the aggressive drivers go first, it does not worth
it getting you or your family injured or dying.
Obviously this young lady will not listen to our advise, but we hope that others do. RIP.
