NOT A GOOD WAY TO START THE WORK WEEK: 1 DEAD AFTER FIERY CRASH INVOLVING TWO TRUCKS IN AUDUBON, PENNSYLVANIA

APRIL 27, 2015

AUDUBON, LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA. (CBS)

One person is dead after two trucks collided in a fiery crash in Lower Providence, Montgomery County and spilled ink and sewage into the roadway.
It happened around 6 a.m. Monday at South Park Avenue, near Crawford Road in Audubon, PA.

Authorities say a tanker truck carrying sewage collided with a tractor trailer carrying a non-toxic base, or makeup foundation used for cosmetics manufacturing.

The crash touched off a fire which was quickly put out, but a white substance covered the road and dozens of the barrels were spilled out on the street.

Police confirmed one of the truck drivers was killed in the crash.

South Park Avenue was shutdown between Eagleville Road and Ridge Avenue while crews cleaned up the mess.

There was no initial word on the condition of the second truck driver.
Drive safely.  Learn from this tragedy and slow down.  IF YOU MUST GO, THEN TAKE IT SLOW

As we always say: it is better to arrive late at your current destination, than to arrive early at your final destination.  Slow down at intersections, let the aggressive drivers go first, it does not worth it getting you or your family injured or dying.
