Meriden, Connecticut Man Falls 20-Feet When Excavator Flips Over Into a Ditch.  He Suffered a Head Injury.

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH)– A construction worker in Meriden fell roughly 20-feet after his excavator flipped over into a ditch while on the job.

The man is now in a stable condition at an area hospital and is suffering from a head injury. The accident occurred at 25 Columbus Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

There is no word on the operator’s name or if the construction crew was able to retrieve the excavator from the ditch.
