ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A four-alarm fire has heavily damaged a 16,000-square-foot mansion in Annapolis.
Anne
Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Capt. Russ Davies says the
fire on Childs Point Road was reported about 3:30 a.m. Monday. He said
about 85 firefighters battled the blaze in the seven-bedroom house.
Davies says the fire was brought under control about 7 a.m. He says
no firefighters were injured, but he said the department has not been
able to account for the home’s residents.
He said the residents might be out of town.
Davies says the cause of the fire, which caused “multiple millions” of dollars in damage, has not been determined.
