Early Morning 18-Wheeler
and Passenger car Accident in College Station, Texas Injures Two

STATION -
Two people were taken to the hospital after an early morning crash in College
Station, Texas.
College
Station Police say a driver and passenger riding in a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu were
injured after their car rear-ended an 18-wheeler at the intersection of Harvey
Mitchell Parkway South and George Bush Drive West.
That
stretch of road was closed for about 4.5 hours after the accident happened at
3:43 A.M. New Year's Day.
The
driver of the 18-wheeler wasn't hurt.
The
cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Officers with the College Station Police Department responded to the intersection around 3:45 a.m. and reported finding a car had struck the rear of an 18-wheeler. The driver of the car and the passenger were taken to College Station Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
The wreck remains under investigation.
