TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN FALLS — The FAA confirmed Friday a pilot was killed after his plane crashed in Sheboygan County.
Emergency crews responded to a farm field near County Road O and Willow Road shortly after 12:30 PM on Friday, May 26th after reports of a small plane crashing in the field.
The Federal Aviation Administration said a Pitts S2A small aircraft crashed in the field but does not know how or why. The pilot died at the scene. Investigators from the FAA will be responding to the scene. Firefighters from the Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department are working to extricate the pilot from the aircraft.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Orange Cross Ambulance, Johnsonville Fire Department and Town of Sheboygan Falls First Responders also responded to the scene of the plane crash.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - Two men were killed in an airplane crash in a field near the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport on Friday afternoon.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office said the small, single-engine plane went down at N6217 Willow Road in Sheboygan Falls at 12:30 p.m.
Authorities said two adult males were killed in the crash but their names have not yet been released.
Sheriff's officials said the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating with the sheriff's department.
