HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities say a man fleeing police after a drug deal crashed his SUV into another vehicle, killing the other driver.
Chandler Heaviside faces numerous charges, including death by auto while under the influence of drugs and causing death while driving with a suspended license. It wasn't known Tuesday if the 22-year-old Jackson man has retained an attorney.
Mercer County prosecutors say state police tried to stop Heaviside's SUV in Trenton after they saw an apparent drug deal. But they say he drove away at a high rate of speed.
The pursuit continued into Hamilton Township but was soon ended.
Prosecutors say the SUV later ran a red light and crashed into a car driven by 22-year-old Deja Farrior, of Trenton. She was taken to a hospital but died there a short time later.

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- The grief and outrage continues in New Jersey after a 22-year-old woman was hit and killed by a man who had been involved in a police chase.
Deja Farrior had just dropped off her cousin and was heading to her brother's house when the crash happened on Monday night in Hamilton Township.
That's when her Honda Civic was struck by a Chevy Trailblazer driven by 22-year-old Chandler Heaviside.
Farrior was pronounced dead at the hospital. Mercer County Prosecutors say Heaviside is charged with her death.
"She never gave me any trouble. The best, the best you can ask for. She was happy, always positive, outgoing," said her mother Olga Quinones.
"I just want justice done," said her father, Terence Farrior. "A part of me is gone. They took my baby."
NJ State Police say undercover detectives witnessed an illegal drug transaction involving Heaviside and activated their sirens.
Heaviside allegedly took off and a pursuit ensued, beginning on a side street off Stuyvesant Avenue in Trenton.
State police say the chase went into Hamilton Township, on and off Route 195, but detectives ended the pursuit in the area of White Horse Circle as it began to re-enter Trenton.
After the crash at Broad and Park Avenue, Heaviside tried to flee, but witnesses pointed to his whereabouts.
Authorities say they found bags of heroin in the car. Heaviside was allegedly under influence.

"They chased him, they were there, we have witnesses," said Quinones. "Troopers were there when impact happened. They did not call off the chase."
State Police say the investigation is ongoing. Surveillance cameras and blacktop boxes are being reviewed, and witnesses are being interviewed.
For now, police say the preliminary findings show the chase was called off 1.1 miles from impact, and protocol was followed.
"Although no type of vengeance will bring my baby back, they will pay," said Quinones. "They will pay.
Two other people in Heaviside's SUV, Lawrence Sears and Harry Remington, were issued possession summons.
