A tractor-trailer and pick-up truck collided in Glasgow, Delaware, leaving two adults and one child injured after the truck burst into flames.

GLASCO, Del. (WPVI) -- A tractor-trailer and pick-up truck collided in Glasgow, Delaware, leaving two adults and one child injured after the truck burst into flames.
The crash happened after 2 a.m. Friday on Routes 40 and 896.
It appears the tractor-trailer went across Route 896 and ended up on the southbound side.
The truck then rear-ended the pick-up, sending that vehicle across the highway.
Police say the pick-up truck then burst into flames.
The two adults managed to get out of the truck, but a 6-year-old boy became trapped in the rear.
Delaware state police and a passerby helped to rescue the child from its car seat.
The child was rushed to A.I. DuPont Hospital, and is being treated for burns, and a head injury. He is in critical condition.
The adult male and female suffered cuts, bruises and burns. They were taken to Christiana Hospital for evaluation.
The 33-year-old driver of the tractor-trailer was also going to Christiana to be checked for minor injuries.
The passerby suffered some minor burns, but refused to be taken to the hospital.
The highway remained closed while police investigated.
