Car carrier GRANDE ITALIA troubled

Car carrier GRANDE ITALIA suffered engine failure while transiting Dardanelles in northern direction at around 2300 LT June 9, above Canakkale. 5 tugs were sent to assist, vessel was taken to anchorage in Yapildak area, Dardanelles, and anchored at around 0200 LT June10. Vessel is en route from Ashdod Israel to Izmit Turkey.
