A construction worker died after falling off the fourth story of an Ocean City building on Monday, police said.
Emergency personnel were called at around 8:40 a.m. to 2501 Philadelphia Ave., Ocean City Police Spokeswoman Lindsay Richard said.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel confirmed the individual was deceased, she said.
While the name of the victim had not been released Monday as police notify next of kin, they did say he was 38 years old and male.
Police said Monday afternoon that the fall has been ruled accidental.
The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident, police said.
