Deadly Crash in Gary, Ind., closes westbound Dunes Highway near I-65

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- 

 

A pickup truck crashed into a sports-utility vehicle Monday morning, closing westbound Dunes Highway east of Interstate 65, officials said.

The closure prevents drivers from accessing the Indiana Tollroad.

One person is dead and at least another was injured.
