MAY 4, 2015

EL DORADO, KANSAS

Diesel from a pipeline has spilled into a Butler County creek.

The fuel release was discovered this morning on a Magellan pipeline that runs from El Dorado to Kansas City.

The fuel was released into Constant Creek a tributary to the Walnut River.

Company officials don't believe the fuel reached the river.

Workers are out checking conditions in and near the river.
