LOGGER IS STRUCK IN THE HEAD AND DIES IN CRANMOOR, WISCONSIN

CRANMOOR, WISCONSIN

A 52-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man has died after a logging accident Wednesday morning west of Wisconsin Rapids in the Town of Cranmoor.

According to a news release from the sheriff's department, the man was logging timber when he was struck in the head. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened around 11:38 a.m.

The victim's name is not being released until family is notified.
