NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV)
Three people were taken to the hospital after a fiery crash
on Highway 100 in Bellevue.
Several medics were called to the scene near Ensworth High
School on Friday morning.
Metro police said an SUV heading westbound crossed over the
yellow line, went into oncoming traffic and hit a pickup truck.
Another pickup truck heading east swerved right to avoid the
crash and went down an embankment.
The SUV caught fire, but crews were able to put the flames
out quickly.
All of the victims are said to have non-life-threatening
injuries and are being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The highway was closed for several hours but has since
reopened.
Some people are just dying to reach their final
destination. Slow down, life is short
and fragile; enjoy it without being reckless.
