A small single-engine plane made a hard landing at the
Tucson International Airport on Monday.
The Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft landed just after taking off from the Tucson airport at about 11:30 a.m. It landed in a vacant area southeast of one of the runways, according to Viki Matthews, an airport spokeswoman.
Airport emergency crews responded to the landing site.
Three people were on board, and none are from Arizona, Matthews said. None of them were injured.
The National Transportation Safety Board has deemed the landing an "accident," Matthews said.
The cause of the hard-landing was still under investigation.
No further information was released.
