3 injured in high-speed crash in Kensington; driver tested for DUI


Three people are hospitalized after a high-speed crash in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

Police say the driver was speeding on Allegheny Avenue just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and hit another vehicle at F Street.

The impact of the crash caused the vehicle that was struck to spin around and hit two parked cars.

A man and a woman from the vehicle that was hit were taken to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.

The driver of the striking vehicle was also taken to an area hospital. There was no immediate word on the extent of his injuries.

Police say he was being tested for Driving Under the Influence.
