A New Hampshire man who died in July while repairing the exterior of a building in Rocky Hill had been electrocuted, a spokeswoman from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Tuesday.

Joshua R. Bujnowski, 32, was inside a cramped crawl space above the Children & Family Dentistry and Braces office in the Town Line Plaza on July 13 when he became unresponsive, Rocky Hill police said at the time.

He was pronounced dead at the scene after medics were able to free him from the crawl space. After weeks of investigation, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner recently ruled his death "accidental by electrocution," according to a spokeswoman.

Bujnowski was working with Barlo Signs International, a company out of Hudson, N.H., his co-workers told a reporter at the scene.

Kristen Buja, Bujnowski's sister, said her brother lived in nearby Nashua and had recently returned to the company after being laid off several years ago.

A spokeswoman for the Hartford office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration said Tuesday that the agency's investigation into Bujnowski's death remains open.

Raymond Brayton, the chief operating officer of Barlo Signs International, did not return a request for comment Tuesday, nor did Diana Trent, director of marketing for Acadia Realty Trust, which owns Town Line Plaza.

ROCKY HILL — A worker for a New Hampshire sign company died suddenly Wednesday while working on the façade of a dentist's office on Town Line Road.

Officers were called to Children & Family Dentistry and Braces, inside the Town Line Plaza, just before 3 p.m., according to Sgt. Steve Morgan, a police spokesman.

Joshua R. Bujnowski, 32, a worker with Barlo Signs International who was contracted to do repairs on the building's exterior, had become unresponsive while working inside a cramped crawlspace above the dentist's office. He was pronounced dead at the scene after medics were able to locate him inside the building.

The exact cause and nature of his death were unclear and remained under investigation Thursday by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Morgan said. Police said the death was not considered to be suspicious in nature.

His co-workers from Barlo declined to comment at the scene, as did employees inside the dentist's office and its surrounding businesses.

According to its website, Barlo is based in Hudson, N.H. A message left at its corporate office wasn't returned Wednesday night.
