MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C.
Two people died and two more are critically injured following a boating accident late Saturday night.
Authorities say four people were riding in a boat around 11:30 Saturday night at Mountain Island Lake in northwest Mecklenburg County when their boat struck a rock.
Two people died, and two others were taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
