Cessna 182 went down around 5 p.m. Sunday near Seibert Lake

The Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash of a small plane Sunday in northeast Alberta.
The Cessna 182 Skylane went down around 5 p.m. near Seibert Lake, east of Lac la Biche.
The pilot, who was the only person on board, was killed, said TSB spokesperson John Cottreau.
Search and rescue crews reached the site in dense bush Sunday.
The RCMP and TSB are enroute to the site.

The TSB reported it is investigating a fatal accident involving a Cessna 182 floatplane that impacted dense brush terrain shortly after takeoff.
