A gyroplane pilot died Tuesday morning at the airfield
Millau –Larzac in France
According to preliminary findings of the investigators of
the Gendarmerie Air Transport Toulouse , a Gardois man, aged 72 , lost control
of his rotary wing aircraft during the landing procedure.
The pilot flew alone for a sightseeing flight; he would be crushed and killed at the end
of the runway.
Witnesses traveling on the A75 raised the alarm about the crash and notified the authorities.
