Shell Gas Station Explosion and Fire in Vienna, Virginia

VIENNA, Va. (WJLA)

A fire and explosion ignited at a gas station early Friday morning, according to authorities.

The explosion, police said, happened behind a Shell station in Vienna and damaged a nearby pizza shop. 

Fairfax County Police are trying to determine what caused the fire leading to the explosion. 

Investigators said a downed power line may have a played a role. There were no injuries reported in the explosion.
