A single-engine plane crash landed Thursday at Blue Grass Airport, causing several flights to be cancelled or delayed.
Airport spokeswoman Amy Caudill told WKYT that no one was injured. She said one person was on the plane.
The incident happened at 3:15 p.m. Thursday when the aircraft, a single-engine aircraft, tried to land on the main commercial runway, but its landing gear would not go down.
Eight flights were delayed and three were canceled. The aircraft, which is from Danville, is being towed and the runway will open once that is completed.

The aircraft experienced a gear-up landing to runway 4 at the Blue Grass Airport (KLEX), Lexington, Kentucky. The airplane sustained unreported damage and the sole pilot onboard was not injured.
