Milwaukee police are investigating a double fatal accident
that occurred near Sherman and Glendale early Saturday, May 23rd.
Officials say around 2:15 a.m., a car going westbound on
Glendale was struck by an SUV that was northbound on Sherman. Both occupants of
the car, females in their 20s, died on scene from their injuries.
The driver of the SUV, a 42-year-old man from
Milwaukee, was taken into custody on suspicion of operating while intoxicated.
He was not injured in the crash.
