SAVANNAH, GEORGIA (WTOC)
The southbound lane of Waters Avenue is back open after a
truck crashed into a Savannah business on Thursday morning.
The driver lost control of the truck, ramming it into Savannah
Framing. An ambulance was called to the scene, and the man was transported and
has been hospitalized. Although he appeared to be alert and moving, there is no
word yet on the extent of his injuries.
Waters Avenue was blocked approaching DeRenne Avenue, while
first responders worked to clear the scene. The portion of road has since
reopened to traffic.
