18-wheeler loses control on 610 South Loop, goes
down an embankment. The accident closes
westbound lanes

, TEXAS
An
accident involving an 18-wheeler on the 610 South Loop and Woodridge Drive has
closed two westbound main lanes.
The
accident happened just after 1 p.m. Saturday according to Houston TranStar.
We're
told the 18-wheeler lost control, and went down an embankment. The 18-wheeler's
rig was crushed by the cab. Authorities say the driver suffered minor injuries
and was helped out of the vehicle by firefighters.
Feeder
lanes are also closed in the area near the accident.
