Toyo Tire factory worker suffered severe fractures and burns to his leg in Bartow County , Georgia

A 26 year-old man was airlifted to Erlanger Hospital Tuesday morning following an industrial accident at Toyo Tire.

According to reports, at approximately 5:13 Tuesday morning, Bartow County emergency responders were dispatched to Toyo Tire where it was reported that a man had been struck by some equipment and suffered a severe laceration to his leg area.

Upon EMS crew arrival they found the victim with a severely fractured leg and burns to the leg.

WHITE, GA – Bartow County EMS responded to Toyo Tire around 5:00 a.m. this morning to a male that had been struck by a piece of equipment.


Upon the EMS crew arrival they found a 26 year old male with a severely fractured leg and burns to the leg.

Life force medical helicopter was requested for transport to a level 1 hospital. The patient was flown to Erlanger for treatment due to the severity of the injuries.
