HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A massive fire at a business had firefighters busy overnight near the Eastex Freeway.

The two-alarm fire broke out at Guy's Pallet Company in northeast Houston on Mooney near Hopper Road.

Explosions could be heard as propane tanks at the business burst from the flames.

More than 10,000 wooden pallets fueled the fire as it spread across the business. The company also lost trucks, forklifts and their building in the fire.

The blaze also claimed several vehicles at a car lot next door to the pallet company.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

The company's owner told Eyewitness News the business buys and sells pallets. They have been in business for less than a year, and sadly have no insurance.

The fire was so large, people could see flames from the Eastex Freeway.

Firefighters from nine area departments were called to help contain the fire.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
