2-alarm fire ripped through an apartment building in Weare, NH

Firefighters battle 2-alarm blaze in Weare
No injuries reported

WEARE, N.H. —An adult, two children and several pets were displaced Monday night after a 2-alarm fire ripped through an apartment building in Weare.



Firefighters responded to 327 North Stark Highway just before 8:30 p.m. and found flames shooting from the second floor of the two-and-a-half story structure.

Officials said crews battled dense smoke and high heat before knocking the fire down around 9 p.m.

Crews from Goffstown, New Boston, Bow, Dunbarton, Henniker, Hillsborough and Hopkinton are assisted at the scene.

No one was injured in the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Red Cross is assisting those who were displaced.
