Man killed, another injured in North Fairmount, Ohio crash. Excessive speed, impairment considered factors in crash

CINCINNATI —One person is dead and another hurt after an early-morning crash in North Fairmount.
 
Cincinnati police were called to the 1500 block of Carll Street around 2 a.m. Friday for reports of a car crashed into a wall.

Investigators said the driver, identified as Denzell Andrews, 25, died at the scene. Cincinnati police said Andrews crossed the double yellow lines and crashed into the Talbert House.

Another man was injured but talking after the crash. Emergency crews took him to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The building sustained no structural damage, police said.

Police said excessive speed and impairment are considered factors in the crash.
