Driver jumps curb, striking 4 pedestrians on South Street





Police say a driver trying to get out of parking spot, jumped the curb, and hit four people in South Philadelphia.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a driver trying to get out of parking spot, jumped the curb, and hit four people in South Philadelphia.

The incident happened before 1 a.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of South Street.

The vehicle also crashed into a PrimosHoagies shop. The shop was open, but no one was hurt.

The victims which included three men and a woman, were checked out at the hospital for cuts and injuries to the legs and arms.

L & I was called in to check the safety of the building.

Police questioned the driver and released her.
