A Hempstead man was killed early Wednesday after he made a U-turn and crashed with another car on Rockaway Boulevard near Kennedy Airport, the NYPD said.

Donald Angrum, 60, was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center after the crash at 1:21 a.m. near International Airport Center Boulevard, police said.

He was driving a 2015 Hyundai Elantra east on Rockaway Boulevard when he made a U-turn in front of another vehicle, a 2005 Chevrolet Impala, police said.

The Impala, which was traveling westbound, hit the Elantra toward its rear passenger side, police said.

Both drivers had head and back injuries, police said.

The driver of the Impala, a man, 41, also was taken to the same hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
