6 injured after Illinois drunk driver collides head-on with pickup truck on Highway 67 in Wisconsin





A man was arrested and six were injured in a two-vehicle Fontana crash Friday night, according to a police news release.

A man was arrested and six were injured in a two-vehicle Fontana crash Friday night, according to a police news release.

John Rubino, 22, of Palos Park, Illinois, was driving southbound on Highway 67 near Wild Duck Road around 11:35 p.m. when he crossed the centerline and struck a northbound pickup truck, according to the release.

Five people in the truck were injured, with one passenger requiring extrication by the Fontana Fire Department, according to the release.

Rubino also was injured. He was treated, released and arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated causing injury and operating left of center. He's being held at the Walworth County Jail, according to the release.

The Walworth County Sheriff's Office Motor Vehicle Crash Investigation Team is assisting in the investigation.
