4 killed in fiery head-on collision in central Missouri. None of the victims had seat belts on.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. —

Three teenagers and an adult were killed in a fiery crash in central Missouri late Saturday night.




The Missouri State Highway Patrol said two cars were traveling on U.S. Highway 54 just before midnight when the westbound car hit the eastbound car head on. The westbound car overturned, ejected the driver and caught fire.



Both drivers, Miriah McDaniel, 17, of Holts Summit, Missouri, and Kathryn Zavoral, 27, of Jefferson City died at the scene. Two passengers in McDaniel’s car, Elizabeth Moses, 17, and Meggan Fowler, 13, both of Holts Summit, were also pronounced dead at the scene.



Troopers said none of the victims were wearing seat belts.
