York County Sheriff Bill King said Cameron White, 20, of Sanford surrendered to authorities and is charged with vehicular manslaughter for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash. Sheriff William King said in a statement; deputies were dispatched to Willy's Ale House, 1060 Route 109 in Acton where they found Kenneth Allen, 50, formerly of Orchard Beach deceased. Officials say two witnesses reported Allen had just left the Ale House and was walking north on Route 109 when he was struck by a small automobile traveling north. The impact caused damage to the passenger side of the vehicle, and the vehicle's mirror was left at the scene, said King. King added White's 2001 light blue Dodge Stratus was towed to the sheriff's office for additional examination. White is being held at the York County Jail on $25,000 cash bail and is scheduled to make his initial appearance at Alfred Superior Court next week.

A man walking home after leaving Willy's Ale Room was struck and killed early Saturday morning. 

York County Sheriff Bill King said Cameron White, 20, of Sanford surrendered to authorities and is charged with vehicular manslaughter for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash.
