MULTI-VEHICLE CRASHES IN CENTRAL INDIANA DUE TO QUICK MOVING AND UNPREDICTABLE WINTER STORM

FEBRUARY 14, 2015

CENTRAL INDIANA

Snow squalls moved through Central Indiana on Saturday, creating periods of white out conditions.

Because of the quick moving and changing weather, officials ask that drivers use extra caution in traveling.

In Dekalb County about 20 vehicles were involved in a pile-up on Interstate 69, but only one injury was reported.

State Police also reported a multiple vehicle accident on I-69 southbound in Delaware County.

Drivers were taken to a nearby gas station while troopers investigated and cleaned up the crash.

The interstate was closed for several hours while workers cleaned up the mess.
