FAILURE TO YIELD AT AN INTERSECTION: 2 HURT IN CRASH OF PICKUPS IN DARKE COUNTY, OHIO

GREENVILLE, OHIO

A Versailles man was cited for failure to yield after he and another driver were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a preliminary investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, Marlin Bowman of Versailles, did not stop at the intersection on westbound U.S. Route 36 and continued into the path of a 1978 Chevy pickup headed north on State Route 121.
Bowman, who was driving a 1984 gray Toyota pickup, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Wayne Healthcare, according to the sheriff’s office.

Robert Kiser of Greenville, the driver of the other truck, was treated at the scene by Tri Village Rescue.
