2 STUDENTS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER LIMESTONE CO. SCHOOL BUS WRECK IN ALABAMA

LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - There was a wreck involving a school bus and a pickup truck on Capshaw Road on Friday afternoon.

The bus was a Limestone County School bus carrying students from Creekside Elementary School.

Two students were taken to the hospital to be checked out. One student was taken by his parents and one was taken by ambulance. There were no life-threatening injuries reported.

There were 43 students on the bus at the time of the crash. The bus was turning east on Sanderson Road when the pickup truck hit the bus in the right front wheel well.

School officials interviewed ten students who said they bumped their heads.
Other students on the bus were not hurt and were picked up by another bus and taken to their homes.

The driver in the pickup truck was taken the hospital by an ambulance.
All students are now off the bus.
