Cropduster pilot Ronald J. Everidge, III of Pinehurst, Georgia killed after his Air Tractor AT-602 aircraft impacted farm field terrain during an aerial application flight in Craighead County near Cash, Arkansas

According to Craighead County Sheriff Marty Boyd, a man from Georgia was killed Saturday in a crop duster crash in Craighead County.

The man was identified as Ronald J. Everidge, 27, of Pinehurst, Georgia.


The FAA shows two pilots under the name Everidge: Ron Everidge and Ron J. Everidge, III. So, the son must have died in the accident.

Jonesboro dispatch said Saturday that the crash happened along Highway 226 in Cash. According to FAA spokesman Elizabeth Isham Cory, both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash of the AT-602 aircraft.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. Saturday, Cory said, noting the investigation of a crop duster crash can take a year or more to complete.

There is a lawsuit between Ronald J. Everidge, III and the Cooperative Finance Association, Inc. for breach of contract.  We would not be surprised if Everidge committed suicide by crashing his plane.

The Craighead County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas confirmed Sunday evening that the man who died in a crop duster crash Saturday was from Dooly County, GA.
