Two people were hurt in an early morning crash in Durham Sunday (WTVD)

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Two people are in serious condition after their car slammed into a power pole in Durham Sunday morning.
The crash happened on Cornwallis Road and Mutual Drive just before 3 a.m.
Emergency crews on the scene said a white Dodge charger ran off the road, plowed into a pole and finally stopped in a graveyard.
The driver and a passenger were taken to Duke Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Police have not said what caused the crash.
