Bulk carrier SAM WOLF ran aground at around 1700 LT Sep 16 on a beach El Faro, Puerto Cortes, Honduras, while approaching Puerto Cortes en route from New Orleans. Understood vessel was pushed off fairway by strong current. Port authorities demand from SAM Shipping to refloat the vessel as soon as possible. No news on salvage contract yet.
