Worker dies after accident at Bolthouse Farms

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A worker died after an accident Wednesday night at the Bolthouse Farms plant on East Brundage Lane in Bakersfield.
Silvio Beltran was a temporary agency employee, according to General Manager Todd Putman.
Bolthouse didn't provide details of the accident. Ray Pruitt, spokesman for the Kern County Sheriff's Office, also couldn't provide information.
"We are working with authorities on the investigation," Putman said in an email statement. "We offer our deepest sympathies to Silvio’s loved ones. There is little we can say that will ease their pain at this difficult time."
