Speeding and drunk ATV driver loses his life west of Watts, OK

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a 48-year-old Arkansas man died in an ATV crash in eastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the incident happened Saturday about 10:30 p.m. about seven miles west of Watts.

A patrol report indicates that the driver, Keith Baker of Russellville, Arkansas, was headed north on a private property trail when, for some unknown reason, his vehicle overturned and came to a rest.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A field report by the trooper indicates the odor of alcohol near the victim and cites unsafe speed on a curve or turn as a cause of the collision.
