Nevada Attorney General Adam Paul Laxalt announced that Rebekha Ruth Eisner, 59, of Las Vegas pleaded guilty to one count of insurance fraud.

The fraud was committed between August 2014 and April 2015.

Eisner filed a claim under a Farmers Insurance Exchange policy in which she fraudulently represented that several Louis Vuitton items were stolen from her Las Vegas residence during an alleged burglary.

However, it was discovered that Eisner had returned the merchandise to a Louis Vuitton store in Newport Beach, California several years prior to the alleged burglary.

Insurance fraud is punishable by up to four years of imprisonment and a fine of no more than $5,000. The sentencing hearing for Eisner is scheduled for October 31, 2016 in the Eighth Judicial District Court.

Do not lie to the insurance companies.  You will eventually get caught and go to prison.
