A teenage girl was killed Saturday after a boating accident at the Kings River near Reedley, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities said the 14-year-old girl was being towed by a boat while on an inner tube near Lindy's Landing and Campground when she collided with a tree at around 3:30 p.m.
The girl was killed by the impact, authorities said.
Investigators are at the scene looking into how the accident happened.
