Almost 4,000 gallons of pomegranate juice spilled on SR-14 in Stevenson, WA after semi-truck crashed

JULY 8, 2016

STEVENSON, Wash. -- Troopers made the best of a sticky situation along SR-14 in Stevenson Friday afternoon when a semi truck hauling pomegranate juice crashed.

The impact ripped open the semi's trailer, and about 10 crates of pomegranate juice spilled out, according to Trooper Will Finn. The spill was estimated at about 3,000-4,000 gallons.

The crash closed the westbound lanes of the highway at mile post 46 for a brief time, but the highway has since reopened. There are no reports of anyone hurt.

Finn didn't have any details what led up to the crash.
