A man was killed and a toddler injured in an ATV crash in Tuscaloosa County Thursday night.
Alabama State Troopers today identified the fatality victim as Daniel Riley Guin. He was 26.
The crash happened at 6 p.m. on U.S. 82 near the 40 mile marker, one mile west of Northport, said Senior Trooper Reginal King. Guin was driving a Yamaha ATV when he was struck by a 2014 GMC Sierra pickup truck driven by 26-year-old Joseph Ryan Martinez of Gordo.
The 1-year-old passenger, Guin's son, on the ATV was airlifted to Children's of Alabama. The child's condition wasn't immediately known.
The crash remains under investigation.
