Springfield man killed in crash in Henry County

A head-on crash has killed a Springfield man. The highway patrol says Gary Hoos, 60, died Monday night when his car hit another car on highway 7.
The other driver, Linda Hiserote, 66, of Nelson, was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

NELSON WOMAN INJURED IN FATAL CRASH
An area resident was involved in a fatal accident in Henry County on Monday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened when an eastbound car driven by 60-year-old Gary Hoos, of Springfield, struck head-on a westbound car driven by 66-year-old Linda Hiserote, of Nelson.
Hoos suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was later pronounced dead after being transported from the scene to a Clinton hospital. Hiserote sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a Clinton hospital for treatment.
The Patrol says the crash occurred at 9:12 p.m. on Missouri 7.
