NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A large construction crane has toppled onto the Tappan Zee Bridge. At least two people have been injured. The bridge is closed in both directions. Numerous emergency vehicles are on scene and on the water below.
The boom of the crane landed on the Rockland side of the bridge.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area as traffic is backed-up for several miles in both directions.
