Hydrofoil Masaccio against the pier of Stromboli

The hydrofoil " MASACCIO " in service in the Aeolian Islands, is over, during berthing against the quay of the port of Stromboli because of the strong sirocco wind and is partially sunk.
The 117 passengers and 6 crew members were rescued.
The hydrofoil, which had set out from Milazzo and later had to reach Lipari, it is cocked the bow under the dock.
The passengers disembarked through the life rafts and boats made available by the island's inhabitants.
It 'also spoke a Coast Guard helicopter took off from Catania.
